Jon
grew up outside of Philadelphia,
played drums and percussion in school bands and took private lessons from age
9. He picked up guitar in his teens and eventually the upright and electric
basses in college. He has studied at Berklee College of Music in Boston,
has a BA in Jazz performance and composition from Goddard College
in Vermont, and plays regularly
with different groups in Seattle.
